Can’t wait for Chale Show!

It’s Chale Show this weekend (Aug 1 & 2) and I will be starring at Whitwell Ford’s marquee, where kind-hearted boss Adrian and his team are allowing me to have a display/book-signing etc in aid of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice as part of the (continuing!) fundraising that is the Trans-Siberian Writing Challenge.

I have had a great time at the Isle Of Wight Motor Show this weekend and sold eight books, as well has talking to lots of people and accepting some donations.

A meeting with Andrew Motion

I went to a writing workshop with Sir Andrew Motion, former poet laureate (1999-2009) at Farringford yesterday, as part of Tennyson’s 200th anniversary celebrations and the centenary of the Poetry Society.
There were tonnes of press there, including BBC Radio Lincolnshire (Tennyson was born in Lincolnshire) and it was being filmed as well.
