Youngest finalist in the Independent Young Sports Writer of the Year Competition 1993, aged just 17. Winner was Tom Chesshyre, now a travel writer on The Times.

FUTURE AMBITIONS:
Everyone keeps asking me what will be my next project! I would like to tour Chile and Patagonia – but it might take a while to save up for that one!
